All 7 Halloweens (Halloween 3 doesnt count)
Or how about
Asian Triple Bill
Nightmare On Elm Street
Also worthhwile films of note include: Dark Water, Saw, Dog Soliders, The Descent, Tale Of Two Sisters.
You get the idea.
Have fun and remember to keep from fainting keep repeating its only a movie, its only a movie.
Goodnight out there whatever you are.

Hartlepool getting through to the second round of the Johnstones Paint Cup
My Napstar account been stopped because the dumb fucks keeping telling me my bank details are wrong.
Working way too long.

X-Box 360s been so bloody expensive.

To finish a reminder that this weekend in Detriot TNA are hosting Bound for Glory. It will air over here on 27th October. Dont miss it. Plus check out the TNA website for a cool preview video with music from Fozzy, Chris Jerichos band, the track they use is Enemy from the All That Remains album.
Im in astrange mood this morning. Im sick of life. Not in the suciodial way you understand but in the what the fucks the point?
I will be honest Im a bit of a dreamer and believed by this point of my life things would be clearer then what they are now but I cant make sense of anything.
My feelings towards various people are confusing me. Nothing new there.
I want to say more but having seen what has transpired over the last few weeks and what is going on now on here are will end it here.
Time to get back on track with my Top 50 fave movies. Here are humbers 45-41:
45 Groundhog Day
Is the story of Phil Connors (a superb Bill Murray) a man who goes o cover the Groundhog Day celebrations in alittle Pennysilivanna town and ends up living the day over and over again. Accompying Phil are his cammeraman Larry (cHris Elliott) and his producer Rita (a surprisingly good Andie McDowell) who are unaware of what is happening to him. Add in a great turn by highly under rated actor Stephen Tobolowsky as Ned you get a great comedy film.
[Punches Ned in the face]
44. Die Hard
This is a action classic. Bruce Willis plays cop John McClane who flys into meet his wife at her works Xmas party at skyscraper only to have it gate crashed by terroists. Cue McClanes one man war against the bad guys who are led by a great performance by Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber. This was the blueprint for all action movies set in bulidings that followed it.
Hans Gruber: Mister Mystery Guest? Are you still there?
John McClane: Yeah, I'm still here. Unless you wanna open the front door for me.
Hans Gruber: Uh, no I'm afraid not. But you have me at a loss. You know my name but who are you? Just another American who saw too many movies as a child? Another orphan of a bankrupt culture who thinks he's John Wayne? Rambo? Marshall Dillon?
John McClane: Was always kinda' partial to Roy Rogers actually. I really dig those sequined shirts.
Hans Gruber: Do you really think you have a chance against us, Mister Cowboy?
John McClane: Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker.
Its the night Germany play England in Munich and a group of squaddies end up on an excirse in the Scottish highlands. However soon missing the match is the least of there problems. It would appear that a pack of werewolves are out on the yuunt and they are the main course. A film so quoteable its untrue. Possibkley one of the best black horror comdedies I ahve seen.
Sergeant Harry Wells: We are now up against live, hostile targets. So, if Little Red Riding Hood should show up with a bazooka and a bad attitude, I expect you to chin the bitch.
42.Kill Bill Vol.1
Quentin Tarantinos first part of his revenge movie which tells the story of "The Bride" (uma Thyrman) as she seeks revenge against her former collegues for killing her husband to be and her unborn child. We see her go after two in this part the evil O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu) and Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox). Contains a great swordfight sequence that goes black and white to colour.
O-Ren Ishii: [after she cuts off Tanaka's head, in Japanese] So you all will know the seriousness of my warning, I shall say this in English.
O-Ren Ishii: [in English] As your leader, I encourage you from time to time, and always in a respectful manner, to question my logic. If you're unconvinced that a particular plan of action I've decided is the wisest, tell me so, but allow me to convince you and I promise you right here and now, no subject will ever be taboo. Except, of course, the subject that was just under discussion. The price you pay for bringing up either my Chinese or American heritage as a negative is... I collect your fucking head. Just like this fucker here. Now, if any of you sons of bitches got anything else to say, now's the fucking time!
O-Ren Ishii: I didn't think so.
O-Ren Ishii: [calmly, in Japanese] Gentlemen, this meeting is adjourned.
Jet LI stars in this film of a youngf warrior in China who kills the Emprors main enemy and is invited before him but is he telling the truth. We are told the story from three different stroy arcs. Li is cast along with Donnie Yen, Maggie Cheung, Tony Leung Chiu Wai and the beautiful Ziyi Zhang despite all this talent it is the scereny that is breathtaking espicakky the fight scence at the lake.
Title card: People give up their lives for many reasons.
Title card: For friendship, for love, for an ideal
Title card: And people kill for the same reasons...
Title card: Before China was one great country, it was divided into seven warring states.
Title card: In the Kingdom of Qin was a ruthless ruler. He had a vision - To unite the land.
Title card: to put an end, once and for all, to war.
Title card: It was an idea soaked in the blood of his enemies.
Title card: In any war there are heroes on both sides...
There is a moment in the genesis of a compnay that moves it on to the next level.
There is decsions that you just dont see coming.
There are somethings that just amaze you.
All these above statements refer to one thing: KURT ANGLE has joined TNA. This is without doubt the single most outstanding moment in wrestling this year. So his release from WWE for "health reasons" was a cover. Or was it?
Angle has neck problems we all know that so working the WWEs hard schedule will take its toll. Where as TNA work a lighter schedule with two TV taping nights and one PPv night genrally a month. This will allow Angle to rest up between shows and (hopefully) keep him fit longer.
With Bound For Glory taking place in Detriot and the move to prime time for Impact TNA is on the rise. VInce take note, we got your boy.
OH its True, Its Damn True!
Right over the last 48 hours things have seriously gone to fuck!
The behabviour of one particular indiviual has downright fucking annoyed me. Hie complete and utter lack of responisablity to keeping a roof overe his head and keeping himself fed is fucking unreal.
And what for?
Im sick that it is others who are forced to cover for him and they themselves are having trouble just to pay.
So if he should find himself kicked out due to not payong his rent then he has noone to blame but himself.
If some people find this harsh or OTT I relly dont care.
Its time to start the run down with the films from 50 to 46:
This is the Bond movie. It has the best Bond (Sean Connery), the best gaedgets and the best villian. The film is fun and enjoyable with Connery on finest form as 007 trying to prevent Auric Goldfinger, played by Gert Frobe, from stealing all the gold from Fort Knox. Also features the best named Bond girl in Pussy Galore played by Honor Blackman.
Q: Now this one I'm particularly keen about. You see the gear lever here? Now, if you take the top off, you will find a little red button. Whatever you do, don't touch it.
James Bond: Yeah, why not?
Q: Because you'll release this section of the roof, and engage and then fire the passenger ejector seat. Whish!
James Bond: Ejector seat? You're joking!
Q: I never joke about my work, 007.
The first Disney movie on the list and quite possibley one of the funniest! Despite its heart warming tale of Aladdins attempts to win over Princess Jasmine there is only one reason to watch this film: Robin Williams` Genie. From the moment he appears on screen he steals the movie. Joke follows joke, impression follows impression, pure comedy genius.
Iago: Oh, boy. He's cracked. He's gone nuts. Jafar. Jafar! Get a grip!
[Jafar grabs Iago by the throat]
Iago: Ack! Good grip.
48. A Nightmare on Elm Streeet
The film that launched not onlya horror icon but Johnny Depps vcarear. The story is simple child murder Freddy Kruger (Robert Englund) is torched by the residents of Elm street after he gets off with murdering local kids but he isnt quite dead and retrurns to reclaim the the kids thru there dreams to teach the parents a lesson. In his way is Nancy (Heather Langenkamp)who learns to fight back and when her friends start dying she decides to take Kruger out.
Nancy: Whatever you do, don't fall asleep
47. Black Hawk Down
Based on actual events thsi movie si the story about what should ahve been a simple mission that went wrong. In a big way. The cast is stellar including Josh Hartnett, Eric Banna and Ewan McGregor. The film is agreat war movie. As the the troops fight to stay alive until they can be rescued. It also proves just how ill equipped the Marines were to try this.
"Hoot": When I get home people 'll ask me, "Hey Hoot, why do you do it man? Why? You some war junkie?" You know what I'll say? I won't say a goddamn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it. They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is.
46. The Matrix
The start of the triology and the best one. Kenaus Reeves finds out that life isnt what it seems as he awakes to find the human race enslaved and machines in control. However along with Laurence Fishburne and Carrie Anne-Moss they fight back against the evil machines and the diabloical Agent Smith )Hugo Weaving). Piece of advice dont bother with the two films that followed.
Tank: We're supposed to start with these operation programs first. That's major boring shit. Let's do something a little more fun. How about... combat training.
Neo: Ju jitsu? I'm gonna learn Ju jitsu.
[Tank winks and loads the program]
Neo: Holy shit!
Tank: Hey Mikey, I think he likes it. How about some more?
Neo: Hell, yes. Hell yeah.
I have worked on a list of my favev movies as I stated in my last post. Got a top 50 done doubt I will go any higher. I had enough trouble doing this many!
Noteable exclusions include: This is Spinal Tap, Transformers The Movie, Lost In Translation, The Goonies and Toy Story (didnt release this wasnt on!).
Included however: Battle Royale (no surprise there), Dawn Of The Dead, The Crow, Dog Soliders and Groundhog Day.
Any gusses to what number one might be?
Please remeber this isnt based on any public vote or on how good the acting is or how good the film is to anyone but me. Yes there is some unusal films that dont always make these lists but this about how I rate the movie not some Acadmey! All these films are worthy of a best picture award in my eyes.
Didnt head out on Saturday. Glad I didnt in the end got to watch Match of the Day and then by a great quirk of fateBattle Royale was on Film 4. Really enjoyed seeing this again.
Before I watched this I caught the begining of the 100 greatest films. This list was done at least 3/4 years ago so surely it needs to be updated? Since it has been done loads of new good movies ahve come out that would amke the list.
This got me to thinking of doing a top 100 of my own fave movies and posting it on here. I will lend it some thought and if I can compose a list Im happy with I will post say maybe five at time with a description of why I like them.
Enjoyed Arsenal beating Man Utd on Sunday. Enjoy anyone beating man Utd.
